Martial Maginnis listed his residence as Terrydoo Balteagh and his father William was a labourer. Jane Montgomery's father was a farmer. Witnesses were Elizabeth Montgomery and Joseph Maginnis. This marriage took place 30 June 1868.
Ten years later, 6 Aug.1878, Marshall Maginnis of Little Derry Balteagh, widower, married a Mary Montgomery, spinster of Clintagh, daughter of John Montgomery, labourer. Witnesses were John Jackson and Lizzie Montgomery.

Wonder if this is any connection?

Ringsend Presbyterian Church, 17 Aug.1871: Joseph McGuinness, labourer, Balteagh, son of Wm. McGuinness, labourer, to Mary Jane Montgomery, Craigmore, daughter of John Montgomery, farmer. Witnesses were John King & Catherine King.

Thanks Aghadowey - plenty of food for thought

I hadn't realised Marshall Maginnis was married twice both times to Montgomery!

Suppose the question now is- which Montgomery bride are you trying to trace?

Not made any easier by the fact that Parks isn't a townland and Ringsend is just an area.

Something to keep in mind?
Baptism: Macosquin Presbyterian Church, 23 Apr.1828 Andrew Montgomery, parents- Saml & Letitia, Ballymena [Ballymenagh].

Also Ballymanagh townland- Ballymoney Free Press, 15 May 1873: Death: MONTGOMERY- At Grandcot Prairie, Illinois, U.S., on the 24th March, Saml., third son of the late Mr. William Montgomery or Ballymenagh.
