Hi
Narbonne has received more info from the church where
the marriage of Richard Raleigh took place.
Now we know the addresses where the parents of groom
and bride and the witnesses lived in 1853.
Richard, the groom, lived at BRICK STREET, Leeds
His Parents, Jeremiah und Mary Raleigh at RICHMOND HILL, Leeds
Parents of the bride, James and Mary Hart at BALLS YARD, Leeds
Witnesses:
George Johnson: SMITHERS
Bridgett Divine: WALKERS STREET
Hannah Stanton: address not known
Question: Is it possible to see in the Census entry of 1861 mentioned above
if they lived then at the same address? If so that would be the proof that
the persons in the Census entry where the persons Narbonne is searching for.
Narbonne has also found death entries that could be a match:
James Hart died March 1869 in Leeds at age 60, that gives as birth year 1809
Mary Hart died March 1871 in Leeds at age 59, that gives as birth year 1812
In the Census 1861 above mentioned the were born 1806 and 1808.
Do you think it is possible that his are the same persons?
Is it possible to find the birth entries or baptisms of them?
Also the birth and death entry of Jeremiah Raleigh or Rayley,
father of Richard Raleigh or Rayley, probably in Ireland?
Probably we have also found the death years of Richard
and his wife Mary Anne in Waterford, Ireland:
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=599703.msg4493801It turned out that this was a Mary Anne Grannon who married
Richard Raleigh in Leeds in 1861 and who showes up in
Waterford as Mary Anne Grennan at a childs birth record.
Many thanks for your help in advance.
Regards
Svenja
