I know this thread is old but for anybody still working on the Humbers, the mother's maiden name of Mary Humber b Loughborough 1840 is definitely Frankland:

I am working on Barrow upon Soar Humbers right now, not sure if or how they connect with the Loughborough/Notts ones though.

I have Mary Ann Cook(e) b abt 1812 Barrow Upon Soar, Leics married on 13 Apr 1830 in St. Margarets, Leicester to Richard Humber, b 1808 in Quorn, Leics

They have a number of children including a daughter, Mary Ann Humber christened 03 Apr 1835, Barrow Upon Soar, Leics. I have seen her on the 1841 and 1851 censuses at Barrow upon Soar but not on subsequent ones.

Mary Humber (the mother) b 1812 is on all the censuses at Barrow Upon Soar and died 1893 Barrow on Soar.

Richard Humber's brother Thomas is married to Eleanor Lang.

Married William WARD in Sep Qtr 1864 Barrow-upon-Soar Registration District
Settled in Sileby and had 9 children.

Sarah was buried at Sileby 31 Oct 1914.

William is my blood relative at least twice.

Married John PORTER at St Mary's, Sileby on 4 Feb 1850
Currently know of only 2 children both born at Quorndon.
John & Rachael are in the 1901 Census at Sileby.
Not looked for death/burial dates etc. yet.

I have no known blood relationship.
