 :-* Hi. I am new on this site i was wondering if anyone could shed some light...i am researching Edward Hughes born in Llangollen 1917. address 2/2 or 242 garth spa.
I am doing this research for a close friend who was impressed with the way i have found my own roots. I have no inckling of any welsh towns or way of life as i hale from the london docks. any guidance would be very welcome cheers Denise

I had a look for you, through:

Bennett's Business Directory 1913:LLangollen
Bennett's Business Directory 1922:LLangollen
Cope's Directory 1932:LLangollen
Bennett's Business Directory 1936:LLangollen

Could not find a "Garth Spa"
Found a E.HUGHES & son Saddlers Oak Street. in the 1936 edition.
