Hi and welcome to Rootschat

It may be as well to include some christian names and birthyears to help people determine if they have a connection

Thank you for your reply, any Fletcher from this area in any of the census records will be related. I have spent the past two years researching and have a book full of names, dates, professions etc, i just need to put them into order! I am hoping to find possible relatives who are researching themselves so that could marry-up stories etc....if anybody believes that they have a Fletcher ancestor from the area then i would love to hear from them and help them if required. I would love to find somebody with photographs of ancestors as I have none :( ...Many thanks :)

This is not the first play with this title. There was also a seventeenth century play by Fletcher and Massinger, performed in 1622 and printed in 1647, in which the deposed king of Flanders disguises himself as a beggar.

Hi,    my Fletcher family from south shropshire goes back to George Fletcher 1750 - 1820 married Hannah Howells at mainstone 13-02-1776. My cousin did the Fletcher side of the family a while ago now, I'm researching my wifes Morgan family from madley. Only Jane Fletcher 1860 is daughter of Richard Fletcher 1836 and Margaret 1834.
