Hi Betty,

Thank you.

Yes John Jenkins is my grandad, he married Catherine Angus (I'm just waiting for her date of death from my mum at the moment)

Thank you for explaining for me, I think it's going to take a while for me to get my head around it all!

Many thanks

When you get the date of death of your granny would you be happy to give it to me for my records.  Also their marriage date.  Was your granddad born around 1921.

i have some dates relating to your gr grandparents.  Let me know if you would like what I have.

Good luck in your research.

Betty

Hi Betty,

The dates for my nana are born 10th September 1929 in Ashington and died 6th April 2002 (I think High Wycombe?)

My grandad was born 22nd December 1922.

Does that match with your dates?

I've got a free 14 day trial with ancestry.co.uk that will run out shortly. Do you think it is worth continuing or would you recommend a different website?

I feel like I've hit a bit of a brick wall so would be good to know what you use?
