There seems to be only one Ambrose McCauley born Dublin 1890 and he seems to be Edwards son, i wonder did they later move to 564 North Circular Road,see this soldiers will

now his number is given as 199957  DIED France 1st Dec 1918   145 Coy searching on CWGC gives no results but there is an A McGauley died same day  Royal Army Medical Corps, Depot transfer to 145 Labour Corps number given as 130046 listed on Terlincthun British Cemetery,Wimille

Strange when you read the Graves Registration reports finals listed under the certificate it has his name spelt right and his proper number 199957.

Found Ambrose papers it says he died of influenza and he had a GSW to his hand. I had dismissed these records previously because I wasnt 100% sure if he was related to Peter and the form I had seen said he was not likely to become a good offensive soldier so thought that was the end of his army time but they moved him to the medical corps instead!!
