This might be another of the DIXON children:

NZ MARRIAGE 1903  DIXON Laura to WALLBANK Richard

NZ BIRTHS
1903  WALLBANK Mavis Maud (to Richard/Laura Pambula)
1907  WALLBANK Nellie (died 1909 aged 2y) (to Richard/Laura)
1911  WALLBANK Laura Pamala (to Richard/Laura Pamala)

NZ DEATH 1913 (5 January) WALLBANK Richard aged 34y

Check Papers Past 'Northern Advocate" for details - he had appendicitis, and died in hospital.

then
NZ MARRIAGE 1914  WALLBANK Laura Palma to MACKINNON Thomas

Checking the Whangarei City Council Cemetery database for 'Maunu Cemetery' provides:
MACKINNON Laura Pamela
married, of Whangarei, aged 83 yrs; died 1963 [born c1880] - buried Forest Lawn 18/plot 1182
MCKINNON Thomas
died 16 March 1987 aged 93yrs; - buried Forest Lawn 18/plot 1182

NZ MARRIAGES
1922  WALLBANK Mavis Maud to ROBBINS Herbert James

A search of Archway (National Archives) shows a probate for Mavis Maude ROBBINS, widow of Australia; was filed in the Whangarei Court in 1984 (it is held at the Auckland Archives Office)

NSW BDM (online)
DEATHS
1979  ROBBINS Herbert James [parents George/Elizabeth]; at Wallsend
1966  ROBBINS Herbert James (parents Herbert James/Mavis Maude]; at Newcastle
1948  ROBBINS Richard George (parents Herbert James/Mavis Maude]; at Newcastle

MARRIAGES
1945  ROBBINS Richard George to DONALDSON Grace Irene; at Wallsend
1958  ROBBINS Herbert James  to PEACHMAN Patricia Marjorie; at Wallsend

And this may be another child but NSW Deaths only go to 1980:
MARRIAGE
1946  ROBBINS Doris Anne to POOLEY George Joseph; at Wallsend

Best wishes
Elli

NZ DEATHS
1975 MAY Dulcie Mildred, born 8apr1897, buried Mangere
1978 MAY Donald Samuel, 82y, buried Mangere

NZ MARRIAGE

1955  CURTIS Arthur William,80y, at Tauranga

NZ MARRIAGE
1909  DIXON Millicent  to MCKEOWN John Sanders
NZ DEATHS
1940  MCKEOWN Millicent, 55y, buried at Hautapu, Cambridge
1944  MCKEOWN John Sanders(on), 70y, buried at Hautapu, Cambridge

NZ MARRIAGE
1918  DIXON Arley Phyllis  to VAN DYK John William
divorced 1920 - see Archway (papers at Auckland office)
NZ DEATHS
1984 (18jan) SWEPSON Aileen Phyllis, 84y, cremated Purewa, Auckland
1971  SWEPSON Horace Binnie, 73y, Purewa, Auckland

I have the details from Aileen SWEPSON's newspaper notice that I'll PM you.

And some extra info for the WALLBANK/ROBBINS family:
NZ DEATHS  1980 (22nov) GOLDIE Pamela Laura, 69y, Maunu, Whangarei

ROBBINS Herbert James served in the Australian Forces in WWII; NX45568, Private, 2/1 Battalion; born 10nov1902, Boolaroo, NSW (SW of Newcastle); of Speers Point, Newcastle, NSW; NOK: Mavis ROBBINS.

This was marginally easier than Smith!! Have fun
Elli

Hello
I think Hazar Dixon is my great great grandfather. My Grandfather, Rupert David Dixon McLEOD was born to Hazar's daughter Laura Pamala in Auckland on 14 July 1900, married Doris Stuart FORGIE, in Auckland on 14 Mar 1922 and died in Auckland on 28 Mar 1993.

Hi Llanty
I know its been a few years since this was posted, but did you find out about Hazar's family tree at all.
Hazar was my grandfather via his son Robert Charles. I am researching Robert Charles line, I don't know if you have any info on him
