Many thanks Carole, Sancti and Forfarian for all the additional information. Apologies for my late response, but I went away over the Christmas period and have only just been able to log in to Rootschat.

Catherine did remarry as she is listed as Mrs McInnes, previously Davidson (nee Henderson), on her son Alexander Henderson Davidson's marriage certificate in 1900.

Hello Fellow Researchers - Cousins ?
I am very interested in this family.
My Hendersons are John and Mary (McKinnon) their children Archibaldx2, Margaret, Alexander, Janet/Jessie and Catherine/Katie.  Archibald 2 and Katie ended up in NZ, as did the daughter of Katie who married her cousin Alec Henderson (son of Archibald), and some Davidsons.
