Thanks for looking Jo. I can't find her divorce either. I'm sort of presuming it didnt happen.

The death certificate seems to be him but it gives his mothers name as Helen Hayes. and his father as George McGowan. I don't think either of these are true. It is an Authorised Agent who registered the death. I can't read his name though. I am presuming it is someone from the hospital as he died in the Austin Hospital and the address of the Agent is Heidelberg.

I don't think he took the name Walkerden I think his name was Walkerden and he took the name McGowan, but I could be wrong - I often am.
