 Evan William/William Evans Robinson was the son of Edward Robinson and Ann Evans. Edward was a successful builder in Southport, Lancs until I understand he fell off a ladder. His son William was not successful in running the family business, but it is interesting to see that Walter continued with the trade in Melbourne.

I can't find a marriage for a Walter to an Evelyn in Aus however however there is this one in Ormskirk the same registration district as the speculative birth for Edna Mary.

Yes same occupation and wife's name is Mary Eveline and they are both the same age.  Three kids and Edna is the middle one.
