FOSSEY look up

I am looking for details of parents, baptisms etc for Catherine Fossey born abt 1792 in Bedfordshire. She married William Tearle in Toddington in 1824.
I have them on the 1841 census onwards, and history of Williams family but no details of Catherine, otherwise known as Kitty.

John    9 Mar  1799 - this last has either John of William and Anne as parents.

It is odd - there are 11 entries and 10 of them have mother Anne - but different spouses.   Robert,  is the other father.
there is another with William and Hannah (a variation of Anne) -   better look at these yourself to see what fits!

That is fantastic, something for me to look into.
Kitty (which we always thought was a nickname) named one of her own sons Moses, and as it appears she had a brother by the same name, I would say this is the same family. Could be interesting.

Oh and her other son was called John, another name you listed above.

Just been looking at other children in the William Susanna family -   

 - another child in that family is James -

Houghton Regis isn't very far away from Toddington - just looked it up.

Lots of Fosseys in Houghton!   

Another family with William and Elisabeth as parents - can't see a William as child there  in the right time frame!  i.e 1755 +/- 10

Another  birth   -  William to Sam and Sarah 12 Aug 1750  Houghton

As usual with FS when you go back to check something different info comes up -

 another child to William and Anne Fossey -   Robert - b 7 Aug 1785  (prem obviously! )

And another possible     Bernard  25 Oct 1807 to William and Hannah still in Toddington.

I was just looking at the marriage and I think that could be right.
Also Sarah is Kittys daughters name, thats all her kids covered in family names.
I thought they originated from Houghton so it looks possible, will look at it further mow
