Looks like a good possibility. To confirm Elizabeth's maiden name you need to buy a birth certificate. Best one would be Roderick jones, born 1858 (March quarter)

Aberayron volume 11b page 51

Then you may be able to trace the marriage of Evan and Elizabeth, which will give the names and occupations of their Fathers.

For pre-1841, you need to examine Parish records which are available at National Library of Wales and Ceredigion Record Office.

Select country, then county, then Parish (e.g. Llanbadarn Trefeglwys), and click on the link. This takes you into the LDS site where you can refine the search by entering names.

If you send for any certificates, remember to specify known details such as parent's names, occupation, Parish, etc. This will help avoid paying for the wrong certificate.  :)
