Following on from the comment in the first post:
(There is an interesting footnote on the list which says that "Mrs. W.O. Bourne left her husband 8 years ago and has returned since the disaster, some caution will be necessary in dealing with her"

Papers past (NZ)
http://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/cgi-bin/paperspast?a=d&d=WH18780817.2.3
Wanganui Herald, Volume XII, Issue 3207, 17 August 1878,
Passenger list, inward
per Manawatu - Mrs Sharpe, Ottaway, Bourne and family (3)

It is difficult to decide whether Mrs Sharpe is part of the 3 in the Bourne family or whether the Bourne family group consists of 3  :-\ The ship is 103 tons and seems to be a NZ coastal vessel, travelling Wellington-Wanganui and return regularly although the origin of the voyage is not apparent.

PROV has digitised Administration papers for the estate of John O BLACKWELL, granted to his widow Jessie Maria BLACKWELL.  His children are listed - his sons seem to have gone into the bread making or carting business following their father.

Immigration:

There is a William BOURNE age 19yrs arriving 1853 on the 'Herefordshire' into Sydney.

The age would match given that his birth is noted as 1833  :)

Not quite  :D

More births... here's another two & there's the other one I found earlier plus the one Sue found ;D

BOUREN George Albert b. 1875 NEWCASTLE #16156
Father:   Attway
Mother:   Mary

BOUREN Mary Ellen b. 1880 WOLLONGONG #27324
Father:   Attaway
Mother:   Mary

So, I think we are up to NINE births... I'll sort through them to make sure.

There were two by the name of William one died as a toddler & the other in the mine accident.
I think there could possibly be other child deaths yet to be checked :-\
