Birth/Bapt. Lookup MARTIN - Worlingham 1738

Hi,

I'm trying to find the birth/baptism of Robert MARTIN born about 1738, he married Sarah CLARK on 5th October 1778 in Worlingham (both of the parish), Suffolk, and he died 12th October 1785 in Kessingland, Suffolk.

This is a brickwall in my research, and any help would be appreciated.

IGI has him with the name "Robert Marten", and the marriage 5th October 1779, Worlingham, Suffolk England.

There is also 1 Suffolk birth for a "Robert Martin" in 1738.

Hi Malky,

I've seen the parish register entry yesterday, and unfortunately the marriage just states both of this parish, I don't think the 1738 birth/bapt. on the IGI is the one as it's Bury St. Edmunds, which is quite a distance away from Worlingham.

He died in Kessingland, Suffolk 12th October 1785 aged 47.
