Thanks also for the clarification of Frederick/Frank. 
I'm afraid I usually have trouble using the SRSA site.....pages take forever to load and more often than not time out. I only have extremely slow internet available to me.

I shall add that to my list of things to do if I ever get to go to State Records.   :)

The reason why you don't see any later notices from James/Jim LEE regards his mother is that he died in 1909 & his wife remarried:

The last Memorium notice he placed for his mother was in 1908 the year before he died:

Also that possible death for a John LEE 18/05/1890, I don't think is his as his wife's name is ELIZABETH in the newspaper obits  :-\

So John LEE is still really hard to locate anywhere......except on the marriage record and as a name on the marriages of his children.
