Found some more

Found Laura and Arthur living at home with their parents in the 1891 census

Edward Blakemore  50  1841  Head born Monmouth
Emma                      46   1845  wife           Llanbaddock
Laura                       14   1877  daughter scholar born Llanbaddock
Kate                         11   1880   "                "                    "

Martha Davies           65   1826   Mother in Law  born Llancayo House, Mon

Havent found a death yet for Laura so she could have died somewhere else

Hi
Thanks for the information.
However the parents of Laura & Arthur (& Jessie) were Philip Henry BLAKEMORE & Catherine  nee Hedges not Edward & Emma. Philip died in 1892 & Catherine in 1886.
Can you find Philip Henry BLAKEMORE/BLACKMORE on the 1891 Census, please?
I have also looked for Laura's death without success. Does she appear in 1911?
Thanks again.

What is the source of this? (Given that 1891 hints otherwise)
Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex
DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex
Boniface - West Sussex

Hmmmm, I think you may be correct in that Laura & Arthur may be from a different family - children of Edward & Emma, all from around Usk & not Cardiff as my family were.
The family of Philip BLAKEMORE (Widower) & children Philip, James, Jessie & Willie (William)  appear on the 1891 Census under P.H. Blakemore.
I will delve deeper into these families - thank you for information & sorry to have sent you on a wild goosechase.

Hi JPB

Are you saying that your family have always lived in Cardiff or did
they move there like Lawrence and Laura, get married there
and it was their children Isobel and Arthur born Cardiff which
is your line???

If the Lawrence I found for you on the 1901 without Laura is
your kin then they were born in Monmouthshire and moved
to Cardiff when older?

Let us know

Hi
My family BLACKMORE/BLAKEMORE originate from Devon (Northam) & moved to South Wales - mainly Cardiff in the 1850's.
This family was William Berry BLACKMORE b1808 Northam & Ann CHANNON b 1809 Devon & their four children Lewis b 1836, William b1837, James & Philip Henry b 1849 (My Great Grandfather) They lived in Cardiff, Llandaff North & Whitchurch.
Laura & Arthur appear to be  from a different family (Edward & Emma) & they appear to originate from around Usk in Monmouthshire.
