New York Passenger List 1882 - 1891

Hi there

I wonder if someone would be so kind and lookup the Passenger List between 1882 - 1891 for a Harry William Seaman born 1869 in Norfolk UK he would have been single and I think travelling on his own.

I know he went to the US in April 1892 with his new wife but something tells me he went before that to find somewhere to live after they were married.

Hi Ridgeback,

Not alot of detail but there was a Harry Seaman. Born 1869 England and aged 19 years. Port of Departure: Antwerp, Belgium to New York on the SS Rhynland. Arriving 13 April 1888. Occupation:- Labourer.

Thanks for your reply, as you say no real proof that this was my Harry Seaman but a possibility.

Just one other favor could you see if you can find his death for me  please, Harry William Seaman died in Syracuse, New York early  Jan - Feb - Mar 1893 after arriving at Ellis Island in April 1892 leaving behind his new wife and 2 month old son. Wife and son came back to the UK  April 1893. that must have been hell for her.
