You could also try Llanarthney and Llangendeirne parishes as sometimes Porthyrhyd families used these Churches/Chapels. However, don't rely on IGI. You need the marriage certificate to verify the Father's name and occupation. Morris is not that unusual (although less common than Williams or Jones!)

T T Morris is my great grand father and I do not have a birth/Baptism certificate.

Father Thomas Morris, Baptist Minister in many towns in South Wales including quite some time at Charles St Newport.  The are newspaper references to him.

I have significant information on this family.
