Hale
« on: Wednesday 25 January 12 21:08 GMT (UK) »
Looking for any information on my Grandfather's family.  His name was Isaac Henry Hale born March 13, 1893.  He had 8 brothers and sisters, Joseph, Thomas, Laura, Robert, Samual, John, Frances and Ellen.  His mother was Francis York and father was Joseph Hale.  Any information on the siblings would be great.

Hi ChrisB.

I realise I've come very late to this thread, but Samuel Hale was my grandfather, so does that make us second cousins?

I've been doing some online research for my mum, Gladys, and found your post. She has always spoken of Uncle Ike who emigrated to Canada, and was impressed by how he still flew around the world at an advanced age.

Her father Sam, a fishmonger, died when she was seven. He contracted lung cancer and died after a few months' hospitalisation. An unusual thing about him: he had lost a foot in an accident. My mum was his and Gladys May's only surviving child; a son died in infancy.

My mum has done quite a bit of research and has been in touch with various cousins, including Ellen's children. She was quite close to Joan O'Marney (sp?) in Canada  a relation of Isaac but I'm not sure exactly how. We are in touch with Ellen's grand-daughter, who lives in New Zealand.

I'm sure my mum would love to hear from you, and would be able to giive you plenty of information about the Hale siblings and their descendents.

Hi, I just read your post, sorry for the delay.  I would love any information you have on Sam Hale.  My grandfather was Isaac Hale know as Harry.  His son Henry (Buster) was my dad.  I would love any information on the Hales.  Harry died in 1990 and my dad died 1992.  Much of the information I have is from aunts who have passed and memories.  Any information and any pictures would be great.  Since Harry has passed it would be great to know any information on his family.

Hi thanks for getting back to me.  I will send you my email through a personal message.  Never knew that about Aunt Kathleen doing family research.  She passed away a couple of years ago.
