1861/1871 Census,Guernsey - Mansell

I am looking for the family of Peter Mansell, born Vale 1833, and a house carpenter in 1881,when they lived at Camp du Roi, St Sampson. At some time in around 1860, he married Elizabeth, and I need some clues about her. There shoud also be a daughter, Louisa , a son James, plus other children.

Any information much appreciated

Thanks very much for that,Pauline. That gives me a date and place for Elizabeth, to narrow down the candidates. You wouldn't think one island could have so many Elizabeth le Poidevins on it!
I quite like the sound of Potter Mandell - much classier then plain old Peter Mansell, somehow.
