OK do you note birth abt 1811?  When I do any search of anyone except very young children in next census I always apply a  year of birth +/- 2 rule, if you believe rigidly that the birth and also the baptism were in the same year, have you located even a possible?

Pheobe can be spelt more than the one way, maybe the family spelt it one way the Registrar another?
How many times have I seen a Hannah reduced to Anna/ Ann on the next or even first census return, keep an open mind to the fact that they were not as educated as us!

PS you still have not answered what is the birth reg on Freebmd of the Ellen Pendle b 1865 you have on your list?

If we are going back to Dennington, I may be able to contribute further - will dig out my information and check as this is where my Pendel/Pendal/Pendle connection hails from  ;)

Don't worry too much about spellings, there was no correct/incorrect way - people just wrote what they thought they had heard on records.  All three variations of the above appear in our Pendle line  ::)

Pat ...

Every time I find an ancestor,
I have to find two more!

SUFFOLK - Pendle, Stygall, Pipe, Fruer, Bridges, Fisk, Bellamy, Sparham - all link to  Framlingham
DERBY - Bridges and Frost (originally Framlingham/Parham)
NOTTINGHAM - Lambert & Selby
BERKSHIRE/then Hammersmith LDN - Fulker
LDN/MDX - Murray, Clancy, Broker, Hoskins, Marsden, Wilson, Sale

GGfather Michael Wilson born Cork, lived Fulham London - moved to Boston USA 1889, what happened next?

I know that, she was nathans wife, Together they had a daughter in 1891 called Ellen also.

I thought you was asking me for proof of her date of birth???

The Pendles certainly believed in keeping the same set of names through each generation  :(
