Cannot type in e mail message box

Hello

I am in a group where the leader sends group emails to us - that is fine.

However when she wants to send me a personal email she cannot type a message in the message box.It just does not happen.
It is just my address that this happens to- everyone else is fine. I think she also said that if she does that, she then cannot send an email to anyone else without closing down and reopening her email facility. It seems that it is my address which causes the problem.

Has anyone got an explanation that I can pass on please?

Possible something thinks (has fkagged) your email address as spam or a scam?

What opsys, email client, antivirus?

Not sure what you mean but I don't know anything about her system - or any system really 

However she showed me today -- put my name in the address box and then began to type the message  - nothing appeared.
She then took another name from her address book and tried -nothing again.
She says she then has to close down and reopen and begin again. Only however if she has used my name first!

However when she sends an email to several of us including me- all fine.

It sounds like something to do with her email facility, rather than yours

Can you send her emails?  If so, do they go into her inbox, spam box or appear to disappear into the ether?

Maybe at some point she has accidently blocked your email address, in which case she needs to unblock you and that depends on the application she is reading the emails in. If its still blocked using a webmail app then she needs to ask her ISP for advise.

I agree with Dawn, it sounds like her issues rather than your email address otherwise  you wouldn't be receiving mail from anyone.

Thanks everyone. We thought that it was her problem rather than mine so she will ask advice.
She did receive one from me last week so maybe she has accidentally done something after that.
