She was the daughter of a William Meldrum and Isabella Wilson, from Limekilns in Fife.
Isabella died in July 1892 and William in Nov 1930 , both in Bonnyrigg, Midlothian.

Mary married a John Black in Dunfermline on 10th december 1930 and they had one daughter Margaret, born 11th August 1932.
Any help would be gratefully received.

No I don't think that is the correct William Meldrum.
The William Meldrum I have married Isobel Wilson in Dunfermline in 1886, and Mary was born in 1892 in Lasswade, she married a John Black in Dunfermline in 1930.

Sorry for the extremely long time between replies, but  one gets diverted onto other branches of the family trees that I have running.

This is the same family that Brigyn posted but in 1891 prior to Mary's birth.  They were living in Lasswade.   If Isabella died between 1891 and 1901 in 1892 as  you mention it could be the right family but at the moment I can't see Mary in 1901??

William Meldrum    33  Joiner b Cockpen, Edin.
Isabella Meldrum 33 b Limekilns Fife
Ellen Meldrum 1  b Lasswade

I think the family are registered under the name Mildrum !
at 112 high Street, in Bonnyrigg in Midlothian, a house that had been in the family since at least 1885, according to the Valuation Rolls for that year and 1895.
I am struggling with the 1911 census and waiting for some more vouchers for SP.

Checked Mary's birth cert in 1892 and the family's home at the time is listed as  Eldin Place, Lasswade  which is the same address as the family I posted above in 1891
