James Butterfield and family 1901C
« on: Friday 03 February 12 21:44 GMT (UK) »
Can SKS help, please?

I thought this would be an easy search but The Genealogist is not giving me any clues.
The family group should be:
James (b.abt 1831, Westminster), Emily (wife, b.abt 1949, Southwark. Maiden name was likely to have been Latimer), Ernest (son, b.abt 1880, Camberwell), Arthur (son, b.abt 1885, Hammersmith) and joseph (son, b.abt 1890, Hammersmith)

I believe that James died around 1907. I've no idea about Emily and/or the children)

I can find them on the 1881C (in part) and the 1891C (in part) but have no idea after that.

Can anyone help?
Thank you

This looks possible.. they are indexed as HORFIELD ( they have James as James B HORFIELD )  but when you see the image it is indeed BUTTERFIELD

Hi

Given the family were involved in the printing trade... this might be one of the boys...

Hey wozzle

Is this the James Stenson BUTTERFIELD that I have been seeing in my searches?? His marriage to Harriet Hannah LARDENT shows he was a Compositor and  his father was a Baptist Minister ?

Cheers
