Help with George SILVER & his wife C.SIMPSON

On 8 June 1906 at 1128 Dumbarton Road, Whiteinch, Partick

John SILVER a Tram car conductor, Bachelor ,Age 27
of  105 Couper Street Glasgow

married

Louisa Ann Roy BEATTIE, Domestic Servant, (Spinster), 19 years
  of 7 Dolphin Road Glasgow  She was born Balmaleidie, Marykirk, Kincardine.

John SILVER's Father and Mother are stated as (neither show as deceased)
Father   George SILVER, Farmer
Mother Christina SILVER, M.S. SIMPSON

When I checked the 1911 Census for John SILVER it showed his birthplace
as Marykirk, Kincardineshire.

I have been unable to find either Johns birth or any record for his parents.
I spent hours at Reg House in Edinburgh trolling through the SILVERS.

John Silver died 1942 usual residence 15 Byres Road, Glasgow

I would appreciate any help I can get from Roots chatters.

Louisa Ann Roy BEATTIE had a strong connection to
Montrose. Her widowed mother Isabella WATT lived there
at 80 Baltic Street until her death in 1945.

Louisa Ann's uncle Robert BEATTIE and his wife Margaret GORDON
lived at 80 Baltic Street, until Margaret's death in 1956.

I'm getting the feeling that his parents may not have been married

There is an 1881 entry for Logie Pert Angus for a Christina Simpson aged 30 b Stonehaven Kincardine.  She appears to be living alone.  You would need to view the full image to get her marital status
