Hey Suz,
Winifred and William were mygrandparents. I guess I made a mistake with my great grandfather's name.  Can you tell me anything else. My dad Albert was born in 1917. What was my great grandmother's name?

Thank You
Gloria

To follow William A Lloyd's line back you really need the marriage cert for he and Winnie.
When ordering use the spelling given on FreeBMD for Winifred or just use William's name :)
Winnifred Edmonds, William A Lloyd June 1/4 1915 Cricklade vol 5a page 131 (check details on FreeBMD)

You can order online here http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/default.asp

There is a family in the 1901 census living in Swindon Wiltshire
RG13/1907/28/6
19 Cheltenham Street Swindon
Albert E Lloyd 54 Railway engineer {fitter(?)} born Birmingham Warwickshire
Susannah wife 53 born Wales NK (doesn't know which town or county)
Susie dau 29
Albert E 24 engine fitter
Florence M 19
Ethel J 17
William A 9

All children born Swindon. So Susannah the mother may be the Welsh link. But to be sure you don't chase the wrong family you need that marriage cert for William A and Winifred :)
