hello

Does anyone have any photos of houses on Bensham Road in Gateshead somewhere near the Whickham House pub.   I am looking for no 342, I have a vague recollection of what they would have looked like but are now long gone.

That was my first port of call but couldn't find any where i wanted, there are a couple of the Whickham House pub, but after the houses were knocked down.

Photos of these old streets are hard to come by, I would give anything for a photo of 14 Old Durham Road before they knocked it down to build a road system. Lovely old house it was, the roundabout that took its place was an eyesore!

If I'd had anything about me I'd have taken and kept a photo of it myself, but you don't think of this stuff when you are young and then its too late.
