1920 cenus for killarney street belfast please, my wifes mother was born in number 4 killarney street, her parents surname was McKnight

The lastest census available for Northern Ireland is the 1911.
The 1921 UK censuses are not scheduled to be available until 2021, I believe.

However I don't think there was a census in Northern Ireland in 1921, due to troubles to do with partition?

Yes that's right. There was no census in Ireland in 1921. There was one in 1926 instead. Street directories are probably the best option though it will only list the head of household.

  Thank you very much for the information, although it would be nice if anyone knew some of the names of the McKnight family that lived in Killarney Street around that time.

What was your wifes mother called?

My wifes mother's name was Isobelle, who also had five or six brothers all older than my wifes mother.  I think her dad's name was David, and his wifes name was Sarah? They moved to Noir street off the old park road.
