I would like to request a look-up for the ISAAC family living in Llangadwaladr at the Census of 1841 and 1851 please.

thanks for your reply, it has confused me a little finding a census from Rhewl, although it is close to Llangollen and not so far from Llangawaladr. I was looking around on Google for several hours and also came up with this info....archived on rootsweb

Reference for that 1841 census is HO107, Piece 1399, Book/Folio 9/7, Page 8.

I have been crossing the border here from Montgomeryshire to Denbighshire, please excuse that but why would the same people appear in two instances? One Tregeiriog, one Rhewl. Relatives up the valley a bit with very similar births and names. Probably not the first time

The 2 censuses are 10 years apart - seems quite reasonable to me that they might have moved?

Yes, I apologize. Your point is quite correct, but I also found this information in a forum archive which might go towards explaining my confusion there a little. It appears that this is the one which really needs verification if possible.

I was hoping to see John ~18yrs in the 1841 census.

Wherever you got that from, it has combined 2 different census entries!

Edward and Thomas are as I gave you: reference HO107, Piece 2499, Folio 570, Page 6
John, Ruth and young Edward are from HO107, Piece 2499, Folio 570, Page 7 - the next page!

Address for both families is Rhewl, Llancadwalladr
