Hello Pete

Yes please, any chance you could look up a marriage of a John Edwards to Annie Hughes, in Oswestry. I have it as January 1875. I would like to confirm father of John is a Robert Edwards and Ann's father as Price Hughes.

I have a reference as 6a 997 from Free BMD, does this help?

Sorry forgot to ask if possible any witnesses too.

Much appreciated if you can

Yes please Pete if you have the time.

Thomas Drury married a Margaret sometime between 1824 and 1827. I would love to get Margaret's surname.

Before 1827 because that's when my 2nd gt grandfather Charles W Drury was born (mother Margaret on his cert). After 1824 because that's when his previous child Thomas was born (mother Eleanor Martin).

All in Pant Glas/Selattyn, Shropshire.

Greatly appreciated if you find something.

That's him Pete!! I've never found Margaret's surname.

Added: Father is a Publican on the original baptism I understand. The previous child was named James Martin Drury

Any chance of letting me know where you got the info from, might save me a lot of time trawling through loads of fiches, :)

Pete,

Sadly this is all second hand from a relative and IGI. I would suggest you stick to Margaret's marriage to Thomas if they were married at all or I may be wasting your time. If you find anything else I would obviously welcome the extra details but please consider your own work and others' requests first.
