Hi,

my father and his brothers where in there from 1937 for about 7 years,

Regards,

Wendy

Hello Wendy, it looks like your father and brothers may have been at the Orphanage at about the same time as my relatives: George Frederick Keane and Amelia Elizabeth Keane.  I believe they started there around 1939-1940 which was when the orphanage was moved to Frankby.  Do you have any information about what it was like at the orphanage?  eg How it was organize, were boys and girls segregated, who was in the main house, did they have particular lessons eg carpentry for boys, etc, etc?
