Any descendants of Tobias Codd out there?

I have found information on the estate of Tobias Codd and Mary.  The documents  talks about James Codd and the other family members.  If any one is interested they are located at the Pembrokeshire Record Office: Reference D/RTM/1/309

I am currently transcribing the Monkton Parish Registers 1748 to 1950’s to add to the already completed 1711 to 1748, and have come across the following ;

John Hitchings a labourer mrd Mary Cod 29 Oct 1754
Nicholas Cod of Mounton mrd Margaret Hurlow of Mounton by Banns 04 Jan 1759 in Front of Joseph Hughes. Both made their mark in the presence of William Owens and David Young
Richard Codd of Castlemartin mrd Elizabeth Stevens of Monkton by licence 15 Oct 1758 in front of Joseph Hughes. Both signed their names in the presence of George Bowen and William Froyn.

22 Feb 1767 Martha Cod
10 Dec 1782 Margaret Cod was buried in the yard
06 Feb 1799 John Codd was buried
24 Dec 1754 Jane Codd was buried in the yard
26 Dec 1761 Nicholas Codd was buried in the yard
04 Mar 1763 Elizabeth Codd was buried

03 Oct 1755 Mary Hitchings was buried (See below)
29 May 1753 Mary Hitchins a poor woman was buried in the yard

Interesting but irrelevant to above
05 Mar 1761 Jonathan Thomas A poor old man and alwais merry was buried

I have a further number of Cod and Codd entries pre 1748 if it is relevant to anyones research

Can anyone tell me who Jane John Codd the wife of Tobias Codd was married to 1st.  And what the name of her daughter by her 1st marriage was.

Jane John was a single mother when she married Tobias Codd - her children were Minnie (1875) and Thomas G H John (1878).

My third great grandmother was Elizabeth Codd who married John Ormond.  She was the 2nd child of Tobias Codd and Elizabeth Moore according to my records.

That was the American connection - John Ormond, I have a photo of Elizabeth somewhere - do you have it?

Hallo Mal,  I O U a big apology,regarding Greataunt Sarah your Grandads sister.  I met up yesterday with the grandson of Sarah and Thomas James(Jutland) and found that she was not a Codd.  The only connection she had to our Codds was the fact that she was the sister of Thomas John who married Martha Codd, my Gran.  Sorry to have got it all wrong.   It looks as if the search is back on for Sister Sarah.  I only know that she had left home by 1901,possibly to go into service or get married.      Be seeing you.   Good luck with your  searching.
