Hello Ellena, how nice to see a post from you. I must thank you for all the updates you have sent me over a considerable time.
I am still trying to find who it was that my father  described as his cousin in Australia.               Hope you are well and that you manage to get to the reunion. Kindest regards. Viktoria.

Hello, how lovely to hear from you.I would appreciate anything you can share.
Are you aware of a book written by a descendant?
"For God and Gold"if not I will send you details.
I am descended from Eliza Cole,I think the next to youngest child of the large family, four of the sons emigrated to Australia. This was 1850`s.
Henry Cole was a Methodist minister hence the God in the title of the book. The other brothers were gold prospectors and also farmers. They went first.
Eliza Cole m Joshua(sometimes James)Wright.
They had two  children Henry Thomas and Rebecca .
Joshua died and Eliza re married Dobson Addy .
Henry  took his stepfather`s name and became Henry Addy , however Rebecca did not .
The now Henry Addy married Mary Blakemore.
They had three children,Wilfred Henry my father ,and Harold and Anne. The last two had no children.
My father married Alice Pomphrey. They had my elder sister  and me .We are 84 and almost 81 now.
Thank you for your email and I`ll help all I can. People have been so kind and generous and whilst I may not be able to help them I will help whoever I can.
Thanks again.Viktoria.
