William and Hannah Williams
« on: Tuesday 20 March 12 03:10 GMT (UK) »
I would like to trace my connections in Wales.  William and Hannah Williams (my gg grandparents) were married 22 Aug, 1852 at Carmel Chapel, Aberdare.  William's parents were Solomon and Mary Ann Williams (nee Williams). Hannah 's parents were David Williams and Hannah Williams (nee Williams).  William and Hannah emigrated to Australia after their marriage but I'm not sure when or if they had any children before they left Wales.  I know my g grandfather David was born in 1861 in Victoria, Australia and then moved to Newcastle, New South Wales in 1871.  They were a mining family.  Any help before 1852 and info on Solomon and Hannah would be appreciated.

Thanks
Janney

Thank you for your quick reply.  William was 23 yrs old when he married in 1852 so the dates are similiar.

He was a collier and his father Solomon was also a collier.

Hannah was 20 yrs old and her father David was a copperman.

Thanks again,

Janney
