FYI - These are my THOMAS & OWEN family ancestors, all who were born on Anglesey:
My great grandparents were Robert and Margaret Owen Thomas. Robert was b. 27-11-1842 in Trefdraeth, the son of William Thomas and Catherine Williams. Margaret was b. 21-3-1846 in Llangadwaladr, the daughter of Henry Owen and Elinor Roberts. They married 2-10-1863 in Llangadwaladr. Robert died 2-12-1913 and Margaret, 12/2/1934, both in Dwyran. Their children as follows:
1. Richard b. 5-3-1864 in Llangadwaladr -- married to Ann Evans -- d. 10-10-1954 in Bontnewydd
2. Henry/Harry b. 22-5-1866 in Llangadwaladr -- married to ? -- d. ?
3. Robert b. 1-9-1867 and died 3-9-1867 in Llangeinwen (*Some question to validity of this info.)
4. Robert b. 4-2-1868 and died 1-1869 in Llangadwaladr
5. Robert b. 11-12-1868 in Trefdraeth -- married to Ruth Evans -- d. 13-3-1955 in Dwyran
6. Mary Jane b. 1-3-1872 in Malltraeth -- married to William Michael Hughes -- d. between 1930-1935 in Bootle, Lancashire, Eng.
7. Ellen Jane b. 19-1-1874 in Malltraeth -- immigrated to NY, USA in 1892 -- married to 1. Samuel William Roberts & 2. John Michael Thomas -- d. 14-12-1853 in Utica, NY, USA
8. William b. 11-4-1876 in Malltraeth -- married to Jane Mary Jones -- d. 20-10-1955 in Treherbert, Glanmorganshire
9. Owen b. 28-4-1878 in Dwyran -- married to Ann Hughes -- d. 10-6-1942 in Dwyran
10. Catherine/Kate b. 3-5-1880 in Dwyran -- never married -- d. 25-3-1958 in Dwyran
11. Margaret b. 1-3-1882 in Dwyran -- never married -- d. 2-8-1960 in Bangor, Caernarvonshire
12. Thomas Edward b. 19-5-1884 in Dwyran -- married to Ellen Ann Owen -- d. 16-4-1969 in Bethel, Gwynedd
13. Ann b. 24-3-1886 in Dwyran -- never married -- d. 24-6-1946 in Dwyran
14. Charles Samuel b. 11-4-1888 in Dwyran -- immigrated to NY, USA in 1907 -- married to Eva Rowena Cannon -- d. 4-11-1978 in Lee Center, NY, USA
15. John Frederick/Jack b. 29-10-1890 in Dwyran -- immigrated to NY, USA in 1909 -- married to 1. Ethel May Smith , 2. Nell ? and 3. Amelia D. Teixeira -- d. 15-2-1986 in Oakland, CA, USA
