I am trying to find the maiden name of a lady called Bertha who married Claud Hoadley.

He was born in Indiana, USA in 1865 and died in the same place in 1947.

There were two children from this marriage.  Randall was born in 1914 and Earl in 1920.

I'm afraid that's all I know ???

Can anyone help please?

PS I have a picture of her grave from the find a grave website but it doesn't tell me anything new.

Thanks.

It appears Bertha's maiden name is "Martin"

Martin was the maiden name of her mother Martha -

Appears on U.S., Social Security Applications and Claims Index, 1936-2007 (probably when she applied) as Bertha Syferd Hoadley - Bertha Syferd Syferd - born 15 November 1879 -  Fayette CO, Ohio
Father - John G Syferd - Mother Martha B Martin.
Dec 1936: Name listed as BERTHA SYFERD HOADLEY
