Richards, Bala
« on: Monday 02 April 12 17:28 BST (UK) »
Have found 2 burials for a John Richards, Bala. One b. 1792, D. 1869 and the other b. 1793, D. 1871.
I am hoping he is the son of Richard & Jane Griffith who lived at Deunant, Mer.and brother to "my" Evan Richards b.1798.
I have no other info than he lived in Bala in 1844 and was mentioned in a will of my relates.
No wills could be found for either of them in this time frame.
Thank you, Catherine

Hi Roger
It was me who posted that letter - thank you though for trying to help me. Going over old research, I did find a John Richards was owner/occupier of land in Mawddy in 1838 and also a Llanwddyn Tithe of 1843 - occupier was a John Richards of Glanrafon - now whether these are "my" John Richards, I don't know. Will have to keep searching.
Thanks again,
Catherine
