Is it possible to find out who registered the deaths?

No problem - I will also look up the death registrations.  They will state who provided the information.  The obituaries/death notices should also provide names of any children.

I'm not sure if you're still searching but I'm hoping this message reaches you!

I'm also struggling with the Harry Farrant mystery and wondered if you'd managed to find any more information?
I've found three children and two wives - Emilie & Florence but there is also a mention of an Ellen on one of the passenger lists. Very confusing!
I found his son, grandchildren & great grandchild in Vancouver. I suspect after all this time you already know all of this.

Its nice to see an old thread resurected.  Not sure if LindaGW found anything, there is no other information  posted after the offer of a look up.  ???

There was a death for Harry Farrant  (aged 94 years) - this is the death certificate if you hadn't seen it before. - 18 April 1873 - 18 March 1968 Vancouver British Columbia.
Wife Florence Ellen Jarrett.

Harry had been a police officer. Informant was a son Bertram Farrant. Burial Ocean View Cemetery Burnaby.

Son listed in Canada Phone directories up until 2002 - at the address on the certificate.

Florence Ellen nee Jarrett Farrant - born 1886 and passed away 16 October 1969 Vancouver.
Burial North Vancouver BC.  North Shore Cemetery.

Canada Voters List 1953 shows Bertram Farrant (presumed born 1919 (now deceased) constable and Gwenda Farrant his wife plus Betty Raines (comptometer operator) living at 2248 8th Avenue West Vancouver.
2255 8th Avenue West vancouver - Harry Farrant (retired) Florence and a John Blake Knox (agent)

Harry Farrant aged 46 years - Emilie aged 39 years and Bertram aged 14 months. Heading to Vancouver BC. Had a brother G Farrant, Chilliwack British Columbia.
