Gilbert H Fear died March quarter 1946 age 35 in Wells, Somerset.

Jack Leslie Fear born 18th February 1907 died March quarter 1980 age 73 in Sedgemoor, Somerset.

Have you looked for them in 1939 to see what household they were in?

When Gilbert Henry died his administration went to Edna Kate Bowden (wife of Leslie Edward Bowden), though that does not necessarily mean he was not married.
