You'll need to give us more details such as names, dates, places before we can really start to give you any advice.

Sorry Aghadowey, The Belfast family is Murphy, the children were Mary c1887, Eliza, c1889, Anne {annie] 1905 and Frank / Francis 1907 all born Belfast, the father was or supposed to be James Murphy.  The childrens Mother passed away after 1907 and before 1910 when half brother John Murphy is born in Newry also Susan Murphy 1914, the Mother of those was Susan Galbraith.  All of the children ended up in the same childrens home, could of been in Downpatrick Co. Down.      Susan Murphy was adopted by a  family Marner who lived on a farm outside Downpatrick

Hi,
There appears to be an error in Names or dates.
16 May 1896 James Murphy married Susan Galbraith in Belfast (Urban 8 ) Roman Catholic Church.

Hello Kingskerswell,
Well that is a surprise,   it was was a son of John Murphy 1910 who said they were half relatives !! .   I should have asked some one else to check, thank you very much indeed,  Maybe all of the children were put in a home together?
My husband is just as surprised as i am.
Thank you so much

The LDS site has 4 Irish databases- other than that there won't be much detail to help you-

It was Urban 8 - typing 8 + ) without a space creates a smiley 8), and confusion, so I've added a space in the earlier post to make it clear.
