Esbie Farm still exists and Is up the road from the bungalow.

I phoned the number for Esbie Farm and spoke a lady. She didn't seem to know an awful lot except, some of the buildings on the farm are no longer there. She said to phone her sister-in -law who may be able to help me, as she does family tree things.

As yet, I have not managed to get her on the phone. Will get back to you if there is anything to report.

Just had a flash of us meeting someone - larger lady -  in a coffee shop in Lochmaben who was into family history and for some reason think she may have been from Esbie.

I knew it remined me of somewhere We are spoilt for choice with such lovely scenery, almost on our doorsteps.
