That's a pity we didn't know about Esbie, then.

However, I have just phoned the Esbie Farm number and said I hadn't been able to get her sister-in-law, the reason being, she is in Newcastle. She has my number now.Would be nice if she could give us some information. :)

The womas husband seems to think that Old Esbie, was a house on the farm ground, which is no longer there. I think it will be still worth going to take photographs, though. Will give you the feel of the place and where Janet KERR was born. The lady said there was no problem with that.

On the monumental Inscription it has - Also Thomas, Robert and Elizabeth, Thomas and James all children to George
Kerr joiner in Rosebank.

So, there was a Robert who may have been named from Christina BURGESS :-\.
