Okay here it is after going around the houses.  :)

Kingsthorpe Cemetery

Herbert Gardner aged 53 years, died at the Northampton General Hospital on 23rd June,
buried 27th June 1925 in grave 7955.

(P.S. I still remember you looking after me after I had my Cancer Operation
2 years ago now. How time flies)  :)

Thanks.
Do you know if there are maps for me to be able to visit the graves.

Yes I do remember that too. Alot has changed on the ward since then. Just off to work now.

thanks

You would need to get in touch with the Cemetery Office Lisa.

No existing gravestone (if they was one) at Billing Road.

I could look at the Kingsthorpe one later and see if I can see it.

Okay I have worked out where the grave should be.

If you go to the Cemetery and take the left hand fork after
arriving through the front gate pass the Chapel of rest
and on towards the next roundabout it is pass that and on
the left hand side just further up the hill.

If you have any problem I can always get Hubby to take me
to look for it.

There is no headstone at Kingsthorpe Cemetery for Herbert.

I did find mention in an 1933 Electoral Roll at 13, Collins St.

George, Laura, George Charles, Sarah Dawson and Elsie Nightingale.

It may help someone else researching the family also.

I  saw my friend at Northampton Library today.

She gave me copies of 3 photographs, 2 known people and
another family group.

1. Paul Nightingale and Sarah Kirton, parents of Laura.
2. Sarah Kirton and 2 young children one boy and one girl
standing with Sarah's bobbin lace.
3. Another one which seems to have another couple in their
50's or 60's  a possible daughter and 3 grand-children?
2 boys and one girl.

Although we tried to work out the complicated life of Herbert and
Laura it seemed as though things were not as they seemed at
the time.

And this seems to be another.

Gardener Richard Sidney, aged 2 years of 37, Norfolk Street,
died 5th Oct , buried 9th Oct 1906 in grave 4520.

This would be correct with a birth in the Sep Qtr 1904.
