Hi there.  Alfred Sydney Nightingale, 1882-1966, was my great-grandfather and he was the youngest of Sarah and Paul's nine children.  He married Mercy Jane Ashby and they had seven children with Dorothy, 1913-1993, being my grandmother.  I can share my tree with you if you like, maybe there is some info in there you don't have.  You definitely have a lot I didn't have.

Hello.
Sorry in delay in responding to you. Lovely to hear from you.
Yes Laura led an interesting life & still not uncovered all of it.
I haven’t looked at this for a very long time. Can’t believe it was in 2012 but a lot has happened since then.

When I get a spare moment I will dig out my family tree.
Anything you looking for in particular?

Thanks
Lisa

Hello.

Trying to find information out about any of Laura’s children.

Sandy you mentioned Herbert had served in ww1 but I can’t find any records. Any info you could share please.

I know Percy died in ww1 and I have been to France and seen where he is remembered.

Now would like to find out information about
Herbert born 1899
Sarah born 1903
Stanley born 1905.

Many thanks
Lisa

Hi Lisa.

I can not see where I said Herbert had served. ? There is a service record for (Herbert) Frederick on Anc *****   He served with the Lincolnshire Regiment number 43843.

If you are not aware you can find mother's surname on births prior to 1911 here after registering https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/Login.asp

(Herbert) Frederick Gardner is on the 1939 register which you can view on FindMyPast in the Library.
Doesn't seem to marry.

As to Stanley there is a marriage in Sep 1927 in Northampton R.D. to a Gladys Ward. Needs confirming they are who you are looking for.

Both of them appear on the 1939.

There is a burial for Stanley at Dallington Cemetery in 1973 aged 68. I can not see one for Gladys.

I think Sarah O married as Olive Gardner to a Sydney Bellamy in Jun 1922 in Northampton R.D.

They are both on the 1939 register.

Olive Sarah and Sidney are both buried in Kingsthorpe Cemetery in 1974-1977 in grave 5625 and 16673
