George Dawson, of 13, Collins Street, aged 73 years,
died 19th September buried 21st September 1935

I have a relative whose grandmother is buried with her 1st husband

I would doubt that both sets of children were unaware of the others existence.  I don't know what addresses Laura & Herbert were at in 1911 or how far apart they were but it's more than likely that Laura retained contact given that her children were so young
