My relative Ethel May Parry was born in Denilquin New South Wales in c 1876,the daughter of a Robert Henry Parry and a Jane Neal.From looking at Death index info I believe she married a Thomas Robertson in Victoria in 1906.I'm wondering whether anyone can find whether the couple had any children please?

April 2002; I viewed Camperdown Chronicle month of November, 1948, no death notices or obituary for Ethel Robertson.

The Argus (Melbourne, Vic.) Wednesday 3 November 1948; Death Notices:
ROBERTSON. —On October 31, at Camperdown Hospital, Ethel May, beloved wife of Thomas Robertson.

The Argus (Melbourne, Vic.) Wednesday 10 November 1948; Death Notices:
ROBERTSON. — At Camperdown District Hospital, Ethel May, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Parry, and sister of Mrs. A. Hudson., Camperdown.

The Argus (Melbourne, Vic.) Wednesday 1 December 1948:
ETHEL MAY ROBERTSON. Late Of Camperdown, Married Woman, Deceased.-After 14 clear days Robert Henry Sheridan, of Heywood, bank clerk, the executor appointed by the deceased's will, dated the 28th day of June, 1948, will APPLY to the Supreme Court for a grant of PROBATE of the said WILL. _ BUCKLAND St NEVETT, solicitors, Camperdown.

Thomas Robertson is my G.G. Uncle, I have not been able to locate record of his death.

Many thanks indeed for your reply and to hear of your own interest in the Thomas Robertson.I was thrown slightly by your stating that Ethel May's sister was a Mrs A.Hudson until I saw in my records that Ethel May's sister Emily Jane had married an Archibald Hudson.Again in the case of the Hudson's I have no record of any children.

There is no headstone for Ethel at Camperdown.

Hi Cando,
Thomas's parents were George & Agnes (nee Ormiston) Robertson.  Both George & Agnes died during 1911, he was a highly regarded local businessman (local baker) she, the Mother of 10 children.  There is reference to Thomas continuing his Father's bakery business, but I have not been able to find any evidence of him or his location after 1911. Ethel's Death Notice does not suggest that he was deceased.
