Hi Shane,
Thanks for the reply.
I don't know her maiden name hence wanting the marriage cert because it may have her father's name on it.
The children I have (although I think there may have been up to 3 who died before migration).
 Mary b c1866, Honora b c1868, Margaret b c1869, Peter b c1871 and Ellen b c1873. (They also had a child Katherine born in 1877 in Adelaide)

Might be an idea to start the search with a birth cert for one of the children. Daly is quite a common surname..but of the children's names Peter would be the least common, so probably a good place to start.

There's only one good match on the BMD Index, as follows :

Based on the date of birth of Jane, John & Hannah's marriage probably took place before the start of civil records in 1864 (assuming they were RC), so a search of church records would be required.

Some parish records for Co. Waterford are available on the pay-website of the Irish Family History Foundation at www.rootsireland.ie  I believe they only cover baptisms at the moment.
