1851 AND 1861 CENSUS

Hi I,m trying to locate a couple of places the first is
35 Baswhirrin  peninghame wigtownshire this is from the 1851 census
The second is from the 1861 census
and it gives the address as
N38 Kirkinner village Wigtonshire
I wonder if there is any way of locating which property N38 was in the village ?thanks in anticipation

The freeCen website 1851 transcription has that address as Barwhirran

Also, great mapping feature on the split screen http://canmoremapping.rcahms.gov.uk/index.php?action=do_advanced&idnumlink=63561  You will see Barwhirran Croft on the r/h of the railway line and then Barwhirran itself on the l/h side of the same railtrack.

Many thanks for the reponses I will have a look now  :) Just found it thanks again I,m heading up to scotland in a couple of weeks so trying to locate as many places as possible to check out whilst I'm up there thanks again .

That's great Druid. I think asking local people personally whilst you are there will hopefully help you resolve issues such as what would have been No.38 in Kirkinner Village. Have fun on your travels  :)
