This is the baptism of Jane Smith at Christ Church, at North Shields:

Entry: 1252
Born 16 May 1855
Baptised 11 June 1855
Mother Ann Smith - Single Woman
Abode: Tynemouth Workhouse
Ceremony by J H Thompson - Curate
No fee

I believe Jane Smith was the illegitimate daughter of Ann Miller

Ann Mackbride (sic) married Peter Conroy at Horton on 21 July 1874
Entry No: 432
He was age 36. She was age 40
He was a bachelor and she was a widow
He was a labourer at New Delaval Colliery
His father was recorded as John Conroy - distiller (deceased)
Her father was recorded as Jacob Miller - Tin Smith (deceased)
Both Peter and Ann signed with their marks
Witnesses: looks like William (Thirtle?)
and William Walker
The latter probably worked at the Church as he signed on  a few marriages.
